There are 8 new restaurants in Charleston Restaurant Week

This year’s Charleston Restaurant Week welcomes 26 area restaurants to participate at one of two price points $25 or $35. And, there are eight new restaurants to choose from! Read more to learn about this year’s newcomers:

 

1. Gonzoburger

In the hip microdistrict Elk City, Gonzoburger opened in 2018 and features craft burgers and brews! The second Charleston eatery from Frank and Julie Gonzales, we can’t wait for three courses from Gonzo (and Mi Cocina de Amor)!

 

2. Tin Box BBQ

Located at Eagle View Luxury Apartments, Tin Box BBQ opened in early January and is bringing bbq to the mix. The restaurant has served award-winning bbq in Michigan for nearly 20 years and has brought it to the Mountain State. They feature ribs, pork shoulder, brisket, pulled pork and more.

 

3. Big Joe’s Bar & Grill

If you’re looking for scratch-made smoked meats, fresh-ground burgers and thin-crust pizza, you’re going to love Big Joe’s Bar & Grill. The Capitol Street eatery serves up everything from mini tacos to pulled pork sandwiches in a fun, laid-back environment.

 

4. Elements at the Quarrier Diner

This new restaurant focuses on the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. With creative dishes and a historic space, this new addition to Charleston Restaurant Week is sure to please.

 

5. Berry Hills Country Club

This exclusive country club is opening its doors for Charleston Restaurant Week to share their high-end dining. Decadent dishes and desserts are a signature here and are perfect for special occasions!

 

6. Edgewood Country Club

This award-winning restaurant is available to the public during Charleston Restaurant Week. Don’t miss your chance to sample their legendary food at a discounted price during this week.

 

7. Nawab

For the first year, restaurant-goers will have the option to dine on fine Indian cuisine. Nawab, Huntington’s premier Indian restaurant, opened a location in Kanawha City and is joining this year’s event. We’re already looking forward to samosas, curries and more spicing up the week’s offerings!

 

8. Noah’s Restaurant & Lounge

This creative restaurant features fine dining and world fusion right in Charleston, West Virginia. Noah is known for unique dishes, seasonal ingredients and an incredible experience. We can’t wait to see what he cooks up this year!
